Watch: Kevin Durant Flips Out on Courtside Fan During Game
Fans have a love-hate relationship with Kevin Durant.
On the one hand, fans love his game, and his jersey and merchandise are consistently among the top selling in the NBA.
On the other hand, well, a lot of fans just don’t like him, as Durant polls among the most disliked players in the league. Why? Maybe it’s because he wins too much. Clearly, many resent him for leaving Oklahoma City to join the league’s best team in Golden State.
One Durant hater really got under his skin Saturday night in Dallas — to the point where Durant lost his cool and confronted the fan.
Durant was caught on video walking up to the fan at courtside and telling him, “Watch the f—ing game and shut the f— up.”

A witness told TMZ Sports that the fan was relentlessly heckling the Warriors star, calling him “cupcake,” among other insults.
Another said Durant was so upset about the “cupcake” insults that he complained to the referees.
When the jeering continued, the Golden State star walked over and fired off his explicit outburst.
Durant’s foul-mouthed scolding didn’t work.
In fact, It backfired as the heckler and those with him ramped up their insults, knowing they had gotten under his skin, according to TMZ.
It didn’t impact Durant’s play as he dropped 32 points against the Mavs. However, Dallas was able to get the last laugh, beating the Warriors 112-109.
Obnoxious fan behavior shouldn’t be encouraged, of course, but Durant didn’t do his reputation any favors with the way he handled being called a “cupcake.”
The Warriors are back in action Wednesday night hosting Durant’s old team, the Thunder.
