Tom Brady gets torn to shreds after what he was caught wearing
Sure, Tom Brady has won five Super Bowls for the New England Patriots, holds countless NFL records and will enter the Hall of Fame the first second he’s eligible.
But fans of other teams can take solace in the fact that their quarterbacks likely would never be seen in public dressed like this:

Brady’s wardrobe wasn’t as bizarre as the outfits some other celebrities wore Monday on the red carpet at the Met Gala, an annual fundraising event in New York that benefits the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, but his frou-frou fashion choice clearly clashed with traditional football sensibilities.
Photos of the quarterback in his “Barocco embroidered Versace” were perfect fodder for social media mockery.

Brian J. White of the Boston Globe rushed to the quarterback’s defense Tuesday.
“I can’t believe I am saying this, but: Leave Tom Brady alone,” he wrote.
White said that “every time someone can smash a gender norm, the world gets a little bit better. Brady gets mocked for his Uggs and his bags and now for his fancy jacket. Sure, the jacket wasn’t a huge blow against toxic masculinity. But you don’t get a flower without nurturing the seedling. And you certainly don’t get one by stomping the seedling into the ground.
“Let’s give men (and everyone else) room to bloom. The world will be a more beautiful place if we do.”
