Patriots miss one of the most disastrous field-goal attempts in Super Bowl history
It may have came early in the game, but considering how tight most Super Bowls are, Stephen Gostkowski’s missed field goal could end up haunting the Patriots.
While 26-yard field goals are usually chip shots, this attempt went very wrong from the start.
A low snap was bobbled by the holder. Gostkowski was forced to delay his approach and ended up shanking the ball of the left upright.
