NFL star accused of horrific woman, child and animal abuse, issues firm denial
Sadly, an NFL star being accused of domestic violence is not unusual. It seems like hardly a week goes by without some Greg Hardy or Brandon Browner story clogging up the football media and distracting from the action on the field.
It’s also not unheard-of for an NFL star to be accused of abusing his kids; Adrian Peterson leaps immediately to mind.
Animal abuse also has reared its ugly head among NFL players from time to time; Michael Vick may be the poster boy, but there is a subculture in the rural South of using pit bulls as gladiatorial combatants in a long-ago outlawed blood sport, and some people raised in that world carry it with them.
What’s really rare is an NFL player being accused of all three of those disgusting behaviors, plus another favorite pastime of the morally bankrupt athlete, PED use.
That’s what happened Tuesday to LeSean McCoy of the Buffalo Bills.
It started when a person claiming to be the best friend of McCoy’s girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, posted a graphic photo to Instagram showing injuries Cordon allegedly suffered at the hands of McCoy. The post has since been deleted, but the disturbing image can be seen at TMZ Sports.
The accusation, which captioned the photo, called McCoy “THE DEVIL!” in all-capital letters. It went on to detail a series of alleged abuses, from the one pictured in the photo to claims that McCoy “VICIOUSLY” hit his son “for small things like peeing in the bed,” used steroids and beat his dog into kidney failure.
“I can’t believe you did this to my best friend!!!!!” the post said. “YOUR KARMA IS GOING TO BE SO REAL!!!!!! The world needs to know what type of animal you really are!!!!!!!”
The Instagram poster, “@miamor_i_adore,” didn’t respond when commenters asked for more information. The post was deleted and the account was set to private.
If the allegations in the post are true, McCoy is a monster who should be imprisoned.
However, the Bills running back insists they aren’t true.
In his own Instagram post Tuesday, McCoy called the claims “baseless,” “offensive” and “completely false” and said he hasn’t had “any direct contact with any of the people involved in months.”

TMZ Sports reported Tuesday that EMTs responded to a home on Cordon’s street early Monday morning, according to unidentified officials. “There are only 3 houses on her block,” the report said.
It also said Cordon and McCoy have had a “contentious relationship” for months, citing court documents showing McCoy “went to court in June seeking to get a judge’s order forcing to her to move out of a home he owns in Alpharetta, Georgia.”
Cordon has yet to comment on the allegations in the Instagram post.
The Bills said in a statement they were aware of the accusations and were investigating the incident themselves.
With Buffalo trying to get back to the playoffs after making it last year for the first time since 1999, this is the last thing it needs.
