And the Academy Award for Best Flop in a Game 7 goes to … LeBron James!
The Cavaliers superstar delivered another amazing performance Sunday, dropping 45 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and four steals to lead Cleveland to a hard-fought 105-101 win in Game 7 of their first-round playoff matchup with Indiana.
As great as he was, James might have been even better in selling a foul on Pacers forward Bojan Bogdanovich with 1:17 left in the third quarter.
Bogdanovich gave James a little nudge, but James took it and improvised. It looked like he ran a few steps sideways and then tumbled to the ground, as if he were getting tossed into the turn buckle.

Announcer Jeff Van Gundy called it for what it was.
“It’s a flop,” said Van Gundy on the ABC broadcast.

The game also featured a rare Tristan Thompson sighting, as Thompson got the start at center and delivered his best game in a while as he finished with 15 points and 10 boards.
George Hill also showed up, scoring 11 points with six rebounds and three assists off the bench.
Kevin Love made some big shots for the Cavs down the stretch to finish with 14 points.
“How do we split the game ball in half between Tristan and G. Hill,” James told ABC’s Doris Burke after the game.
“My guys stepped up,” he said. “I wasn’t able to start the fourth quarter, had a minor injury and the All-Star Kevin Love produced for us. We had a two-point lead going into the fourth and when I came back in we had a nine-point lead, and we definitely needed that.”
Indiana’s Victor Oladipo was brilliant in the loss, dropping 30 points, 12 rebounds and six assists.
But ultimately, the day belonged to James, who had another tremendous game. In the series, James averaged 32.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists.
The Cavs advance to the second round to take on top-seeded Toronto.
