Watch Adorable Little Farmer Call His Cows Home at Sunset
When you were a kid, what did you dream of becoming when you grew up?
As a little girl, I had my heart set on a million possibilities: actress, fashion designer and rock star were just a few of my potential occupations. Tucked away in my mother’s photo albums are snapshots of me in her high heels, hoisting a karaoke microphone.
Later in life, as I realized my singing voice resembled that of a screeching rooster, I settled on becoming a writer. As it turns out, childhood dreams can come true.
This Kansas boy has his eyes on a future filled with picturesque countrysides, cowboy hats and barn animals.
Brett Grauerholz, the toddler’s father, posted an adorable Facebook video showcasing his son’s passion for farming.
The video’s caption concisely summarizes its contents: “Just a boy in his hat and pjs calling his cows as the Kansas sun sets!”
It’s obvious that the little farmer has spent many evenings watching his dad herd cattle. Outfitted in his cowboy hat and pajamas, the adorable boy traipses onto the family’s wrap-around porch to summon his cows. Rolling Kansas fields and a pale pink sky make for a gorgeous backdrop.
In the minute-long recording, the toddler calls out to the cattle in the field. It sounds like he’s yelling “Boys!”
Liftable, a section of The Western Journal, has reached out to Grauerholz for comment but has not yet received a response. We will update this article if and when we do.
Teaching cows to come when called can be a challenge. However, with this much determination, he’ll soon be doing so with the expertise of this woman from New York:
If these videos made you grin, you’ll probably be a fan of Jaxon Garcia, 4-year-old who drives his own tiny truck and trailer around his family’s farm.
At such a young age, Garcia is already an expert at tending to his cows.
Both of these boys would likely make quick friends with Jackson, another future cowboy. Jackson went viral last year for a rousing back porch performance of George Strait’s “Heartland.”
I don’t know about you, but I’m impressed. These children are sure to have bright and successful futures ahead of them.
The next time you feel like your aspirations are out of reach, return to these videos of kids living out their dreams. No matter how old you get, never lose touch with your childhood imagination!
