Tim Tebow mourns passing of 'good and faithful servant' with perfect message
The Rev. Billy Graham, the world-renowned Christian evangelist, died Wednesday morning at the age of 99.
Graham, who had mostly been out of the public eye for the past decade, died of natural causes at his family home in Montreat, North Carolina, his family confirmed.
Known for a passionate speaking style that he used to draw stadium-filling crowds to his crusade events, Graham reached more than 215 million people with the gospel message, according to The Christian Post.
His son, Franklin, who is also a well-known pastor and public figure as the president of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, posted on Twitter shortly after the news broke.
My father @BillyGraham was once asked, “Where is Heaven?” He said, “Heaven is where Jesus is and I am going to Him soon!” This morning, he departed this world into eternal life in Heaven, prepared by the Lord Jesus Christ—the Savior of the world—whom he proclaimed for 80 years.

Billy Graham had a major impact on generations of Christians around the world, Tim Tebow being one of them.
Tebow posted a picture of Graham on Facebook along with one of his quotes.
Tebow is in the midst of preparing for his second season of professional baseball with the New York Mets organization.
Players reported to spring training earlier this week, and games are set to begin on Friday.

Earlier in the week, Mets General Manager Sandy Alderson was asked at a press conference about the possibility of Tebow reaching the majors.
“I think he will play in the major leagues,” Alderson said.
Though he didn’t attach a timeline to the prediction, it can’t be anything other than good news for Tebow’s young baseball career.
Whether he ends up reaching the big show or not, you can be sure Tim Tebow will demonstrate much of the same grace and humility that made Billy Graham so special.
