It turns out there was one exception to Ohio State's suspension of football coach Urban Meyer.

Investigators say Meyer and the team's director of operations discussed ways to change the settings on his phone to eliminate messages older than a year.

'The fact that Urban is not there still becomes a major part of it, so I don't know that Ohio State gets to directly say, "Hey, the suspension has been handed down, there was a press conference, now let's talk solely about football." I don't think that's going to happen.'

Two days after being asked about it during a news conference, Urban Meyer issued an apology on Twitter.

The investigation showed that Urban Meyer tolerated bad behavior for years from assistant coach Zach Smith, including domestic violence accusations, drug addiction, lies and other acts that directly clash with the values Meyer touts publicly.

'I'm sorry we're in this situation.'

Ohio State's board of trustees will meet Wednesday at 9 a.m. 'to discuss personnel matters related to the investigation involving Urban Meyer.'

Zach Smith's ex-wife said he 'took multiple photos of his penis inside the Ohio State coaches’ offices, inside the White House when the Buckeyes visited in 2015 and also photographed himself in the coaches' offices receiving oral sex and having sex with an OSU staffer.'
