The number of Americans filing for jobless benefits fell to a nearly 50-year low last week, and retail sales increased by the most in 1.5 years in March.

Another battle is brewing as President Donald Trump seeks more funding for the border wall.

Trump top economic adviser Larry Kudlow called on those gathered at CPAC outside of Washington, D.C., 'to put socialism on trial and convict it.'

Katie Pavlich reminded Sen. Minority Leader Schumer that the shutdown could have easily been avoided after he lamented that it cost the economy $11 billion.
