New tax rules mean the IRS is looking at closing off one avenue of estate planning used by Americans to pass assets to their children.

Hunter Biden has to face some questions today under oath as he is deposed in a lawsuit concerning his laptop computer.

"If Congress will work with me on doing that, we'll be able to reduce the size and scope of government," DeSantis said.

Two IRS agents testified that Hunter Biden's tax-related crimes should have resulted in more serious charges.

Officials knew there was "no reason to believe there is anything fabricated nefariously on the computer and or hard drive."

Hunter Biden was gracious enough to document his lifestyle in extreme detail, so his laptop  placed him near his father.

"The preferential treatment Hunter Biden received would never have been granted to ordinary Americans," Rep. Jason Smith of Missouri said.

House Republicans are investigating what Rep. Jim Jordan called a "bizarre" incident involving an IRS agent's actions.

Federal agents from the IRS and ATF reportedly seized thousands of firearm transaction records from a Montana gun store.
