Prince William Got a $250 Haircut to Stop Prince Harry's Teasing
When a royal sneezes, it makes headlines.
Today though, one of them just got a haircut.
But it wasn’t just any haircut. Prince William seems to have finally accepted that his luscious locks have abandoned him, and has opted for a “close shave.”
Now a father of two with another on the way, the Prince seems to be less willing to make that comb-over work than he used to be when single and unattached.
With so much on his plate, he probably doesn’t have time to worry about what’s on his head.
Prince Harry has been known to give William quite a few jabs about his balding, and the older brother hopes that this will finally “stop Harry’s teasing.” Even royal siblings fight and tear each other apart!
While we wait for Harry and Meghan, who are running around an hour late, lets appreciate Prince William’s new haircut.

According to the Mirror, the haircut cost £180, which equates to about $250. I don’t know if that’s just a royal up-charge, but I certainly have never paid that much for just a haircut.
I don’t think I even know anyone who’s paid that much! Maybe an intricate wedding updo could cost that much, but talk about some fancy hair styling.
The Mirror reported that, supposedly, Prince William took some advice from his wife’s hairdresser, Richard Ward. If his haircuts cost that much, I can’t imagine what hers cost!
But Ward wasn’t the one who cut the royal hair — that was Joey Wheeler.
He’s a senior stylist, and has worked with Ward for 11 years, and “apparently goes for the ‘scissor over comb’ freehand technique, giving the hair a soft finish,” according to the Mirror.
So Prince William is sporting a short new ‘do, and honestly, I can’t complain. He’s pretty good-looking with or without hair — it’s gotta be that charming smile of his — so if this helps to stem the tide of brotherly teasing, so be it!
Prince William debuted his new haircut at a visit to Evelina Children’s Hospital in London.
There’s so much hubbub about his hair that isn’t quite clear what the purpose of the visit to the hospital was, but it seems to have something to do with a program “that will help veterans.”
What do you think the Prince’s new hair? Do you think it’s good he’s embracing his hair loss or does it just look awkward?
