Lib Mobs Aren't Bad Enough, Now They're Spitting on Pro-Trump Officials

Share

The political left in America has become utterly unhinged since the 2016 election of President Donald Trump, but rather than regroup and prepare to wrestle back political control in the next election cycle, they have descended further into a chaotic rage that is now bordering on mob violence.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was kicked out of a Virginia restaurant by a liberal owner simply because she works for Trump, and Democrat California Rep. Maxine Waters incited mobs of angry leftists to harass any Trump administration officials found out in public, two recent examples of the left’s increasingly hypocritical intolerance toward their ideological opponents.

But the effort to publicly harass, shame and make government officials feel unwelcome in general society is not confined solely to Trump’s cabinet officials, but instead appears to be extended out to target any pro-Trump elected official, and most likely will include regular American citizens who openly support the president.

Case in point is how Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi — a Republican who strongly supports Trump — was harassed and nearly attacked when she was confronted at a movie theater over the weekend … ironically at a screening of a documentary about children’s TV star Mr. Rogers — a huge advocate of being kind and civil to others.

The video above came as Bondi was leaving the theater following the film, but she shared what had occurred prior to the film started with “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt on Monday.

Bondi explained how she and her boyfriend were initially approached in the ticket line by a woman who began to scream at Bondi as if she were personally responsible for the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” border enforcement policy which resulted in illegal immigrant families being temporarily split up after being detained for illegal entry.

As Bondi attempted to reply to the woman and others in a calm fashion, “three huge guys” came “within an inch” of her face and began screaming and cursing at her, with one man even spitting on her, though Bondi admitted the spitting could have been unintentional and incidental to his yelling in such close proximity to her.

The attorney general related how the state trooper assigned to protect her intervened long enough for Bondi and her boyfriend to get their tickets, but they were once again blocked and confronted by the same people inside the establishment as they attempted to purchase refreshments ahead of the screening.

Do you think the left has gone too far in threatening harassment and violence against pro-Trump officials?

She described how the three large men continued to scream and curse at her and appeared to be intentionally trying to provoke her boyfriend into a physical altercation.

“This is what they want. This is what they want, they want you to hit them,” she recalled cautioning her boyfriend to restrain him from taking the bait and fighting back.

Asked about the inciteful remarks from Maxine Waters over the weekend, Bondi replied, “If she wants people to protest, that’s one thing … but, to continue this, they’re inciting violence — it’s not just yelling and cursing at someone in a public place, they were trying to create a fight.”

Bondi further described how they proceeded to watch the movie as they refused to succumb to the bully tactics of the left, and even left via the main doors instead of sneaking out the back to avoid another confrontation.

The attorney general made clear that she would not give in to the left’s intolerance, though she noted with dismay that already another female state senator and state representative had been harassed in a similar manner by the supposedly tolerant left.

This is the current state of the political left in America, a collection of angry liberals and progressives reflexively lashing out at their ideological opponents in an effort to provoke physical confrontations, an effort that likely won’t end until blood has been shed and someone is seriously hurt, if not worse.

This has to stop, now.
