Last Video Games for Each System... Do You Remember These?
Sega 32X – Spider-Man: Web of Fire (1996)
Codename “Project Mars,” the Sega 32X was a system that simply was a stepping stone to Sega’s upcoming console, the Saturn. Named the 32X because of it’s 32-bit power, beating out predecessors still stuck in the stone age of 16-bit technology. The system itself was short lived, only on the market for two years before its final game, Spider-man: Web of Fire, was released.
With only 1500 total copies of the game hitting the shelves, it has become a treasure, even though the console itself was never much of one. In Europe, the 32X saw even less success, and near the end was being liquidated at some retailers for only $15.
