Wedding Photos Look Like Fairy Tale After Curious Giraffe Photobombs Bride & Groom

Share

Weddings can be magical events, especially when you have the right photographer to capture the entire day on camera.

Having been a bride myself, I know there are some wedding expenses you can live without. I didn’t have a garter or a garter toss, not did I feel the need for printed invitations.

Evites worked just fine, thank you very much, and we were so busy dancing and mingling with our guests, who had time to stop and throw a garter around?

Every couple is different, and some things are more important than others, depending on who you are. But I must argue that one thing no couple can compromise on is hiring a stellar photographer to freeze that day in time.

If you can afford nothing else, invest in an experienced wedding photographer. I guarantee you will never regret having those photos.

Stephanie Norman is one such photographer. A wedding and lifestyle photographer from South Africa, Ms. Norman knows how to handle a camera.

Luke and Tristan Karshagen were a bride and groom from East London. I’m betting when they hired Stephanie to take their wedding photos they had no idea what waited in the wings… or in the wild, as the case may be.

“Your wedding was absolutely gorgeous,” Stephanie wrote on Facebook. And indeed it was. The photos she took captured everything from getting ready to the walk down the aisle and beyond.

But one unexpected guest decided to crash the party. When this big guy showed up for a photobomb, the bride and groom went with it, and Stephanie captured it all.

“This very inquisitive giraffe decide to photobomb our photoshoot yesterday, and hung around for a good twenty minutes,” Stephanie’s Facebook post reads.

According to the post, this animal was “gentle and nosy, and an absolute pleasure to photograph.” Wow! This looks like something out of a fairy tale.

I can almost imagine a story behind this photo. A story in which the bride is a princess and the giraffe can talk and also happens to be the bride’s fairy godmother in disguise.

Okay, so maybe I’m getting a bit carried away, but you get the idea. This photo will more than likely be the one Mr. and Mrs. Karshagen tell stories about for years to come.

If you could have an animal (real or mythical) photobomb your memories, which animal would you choose?

I’m a bit partial to unicorns, then again I wouldn’t mind having this giraffe around for a selfie or two. He seems like an absolute sweetheart!
