Leaked Video: Jackie Evancho Takes 'AGT' Stage, Leaves Entire Crowd Roaring on Its Feet
The best thing about “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” is seeing so many of our tried and true favorites back on the stage, competing for the title.
Now Jackie Evancho has graced the “AGT” stage once more, and this time she’s better than ever. With “the voice of an angel,” as judge Mel B. puts it, this singer has come so far in her career since we first met her in 2010.
Nearly a decade ago, the then-10-year-old blew us away with her stellar, opera-style voice during Season 5.
At the time, the judges’ panel looked quite a bit different, with Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan joining Howie Mandel.
The scene has changed over the years, but one thing has remained a constant — this show breeds stars who go on to do great things.
Though Evancho didn’t win that year, coming in second to soul singer Michael Grimm, she didn’t let her runner-up status stop her from reaching for number 1.
Not only did this stunning young lady go on to become the youngest solo platinum artist in the U.S., she also became the youngest person to perform a solo concert at Lincoln Center, according to her bio.
We’ve watched and waited each week during the “Champions” season, anticipating who might return from any of the 13 seasons of the show.
Now we’re headed into week 5. Though the latest episode hasn’t aired yet, we’ve had a sneak peek at Evancho’s return — and she’s all grown up and ready to shine.
Take a look at the leaked video of her performance of “Music of the Night” from “Phantom of the Opera.” There’s no question as to why her voice brought the audience to their feet.
Though she certainly has a reason to boast, the talented singer appears as humble and gracious as ever. Simon Cowell called the performance “outstanding” and noted Evancho has gotten better over the years.
