Disney Has Partnered with Make-A-Wish for #ShareYourEars To Help Make Wishes Come True

Share

Mouseketeers get ready! There’s never been a better time to #ShareYourEars than November 4-17, 2018.

If you’re a Disney fan like me, you probably find any excuse you can to show off your Mickey or Minnie Mouse ears.

Whether your ears are on a hat, a headband, a Disney Parks product, or a homemade project, Disney and Make-A-Wish are inviting you to snap a photo for a good cause.

According to Make-A-Wish, Disney has promised to donate $5 per public #ShareYourEars photo to Make-A-Wish, up to $2 million “to grant even more life-changing wishes.”

It’s that simple! Snap a selfie or a photo with the family, sport your favorite ears of choice, and use the #ShareYourEars hashtag and $5 will be donated to the foundation that changes lives every day.

The Disney company has a long history with the Make-A-Wish foundation. “Since 1980, Disney has helped Make-A-Wish grant more than 130,000 wishes,” the foundation’s site reads.

That’s a whole lot of wishes! Disney knows all about dreams, too. “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes,” after all, and Disney has always been good at making wishes a reality.

This isn’t the first time Disney and Make-A-Wish have invited fans to share their ears. In December 2017, a similar campaign was run in conjunction with “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” on ABC.

Buzzfeed reports a special segment during the show will be dedicated to promoting the #ShareYourEars campaign.

“Granting wishes to children and their families is so important because it not only brings joy but hope as well,” Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts told Buzzfeed. Roberts will make an appearance during the birthday spectacular.
