3 Girls Believe They Saw Jesus on Top of Mountain After Finding Envelope Under Rocks

Share

There is a lot of skepticism in our culture today, but that’s nothing new. There will always be those who try to explain the unexplainable.

But then there are those who choose to believe in miracles. That sort of faith is rare and hard to come by these days.

For three college students in Arizona, that faith is what led them to find an unexpected gift at the top of a mountain.

Allisa Miller, Jen Vickman and Kassi Sanchez had planned to hike Dreamy Draw Mountain, part of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve.

Just the name of this mountain alludes to something special. But for these three friends, this hike started out as anything but extraordinary.

“We slept through our alarms so we were really late to get here,” Vickman told 3TV/CBS 5. Sanchez added that it was hot and Miller referred to the hike as “forced fun.”

Still, the girls didn’t turn back. That’s when they noticed they weren’t alone. The girls described what appeared to be a man’s silhouette.

“It looks like he has long hair and he’s in a robe,” Miller told the news source. “He was like right there on the top of the mountain.”

Do you believe in miracles?

Vickman jokingly added the man looked “like Jesus.” Anyone else might have turned around. Three young girls alone with a mysterious man in the middle of the desert?

But something urged them to keep going. The man soon disappeared, or he at least seemed to. He was nowhere in sight.

But what he left behind is very real indeed. This man, whoever he was, had a message for these friends — a message in the form of a card tucked into some rocks.

They pulled the card from its envelope — an envelope with the words “Do you believe in angels?” written on it. The note inside was signed “J.” It included three $100 bills — one for each of the students.

If you found this gift, congratulations. For one reason or another, you were meant to find it.” the note began.

The note went on to share how God had blessed this mystery person. It talked about the rock where the girls stood, a rock the anonymous giver calls the “Jesus rock.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 was also included. The writer clearly wanted the finders to “trust in the Lord with all (their) heart(s).”

“I think it was like a miracle, like the Lord just speaking to us,” Miller told 3TV/CBS5. When asked what they planned to do with the money, Miller added they hoped “to bless someone with it.”

This story is truly inspiring. Whether that man was actually an angel or just a kind stranger looking to do some good, this experience proves that good things happen to those who persevere.
