Mom Films 2 Daughters' Hilarious Reaction to Surprise Baby News
When you hear the phrase “baby freak out,” what comes to mind? It could actually refer to a few different things, right?
Some people might picture a grownup having a miniature meltdown over, say, a brilliant Super Bowl pass or an especially decent tax refund.
Others might picture an actual infant losing it over a dropped pacifier, a stuffed animal mishap, or an uncle’s unfamiliar mustache.
But one viral video provides an especially entertaining interpretation. In fact, the endearing reaction has charmed well over seven million viewers to date.
The basic setup involved two sisters and their mother. Mom had devised an adorably creative way to reveal the news of her pregnancy.
The surprise announcement vehicle? Two sweet cookie cakes, one for each sister.
The girls were presented with their own individual boxes, brightly imprinted with colorful balloons. When Mom said “okay,” they both pulled open the boxes on cue.
One cookie, for the younger sibling, was decorated with the pink-and-white words “Big Sister.” The other cookie proclaimed the blue-and-white message “Big Sister Again.”
The sister on the left seemed to pick up on the charming clue immediately. Right away, she signified her understanding with a super-cute squeal of enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, the sister on the right wanted to leave no possible chance for misinterpretation.
“What does this mean!? What does this mean!?” she kept asking with rising elation.
Finally, Mom asked the sis on the left for official clarification. “What does it mean, Christina?” she laughed.
“WHAAAAT??” hollered Christina in comical response, pushing back her chair excitedly.
Mom then confirmed the news of her pregnancy by handing over an ultrasound picture — and both daughters hilariously erupted in what can only be described as a full-fledged “baby freak out.”
The applause, tears, bear hugs, dancing, screaming, and general running around continued as their mother said she wasn’t yet sure about the gender, but anticipated a May due date.
And it’s fair to say that this jubilant family celebration has left the social media community absolutely glowing.
