It wouldn’t be a 4th of July celebration without the booming and crackling of fireworks lighting up the night sky. And Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks … they don’t take fireworks lightly.

The event is noted as one of the largest firework shows in the nation, using between 40,000-50,000 firework shells per show! Not to mention, the fireworks are choreographed to an arrangement of patriotic tunes!

This event puts on performances from popular artists as well. Last year’s celebration featured performers like Brad Paisley, Hailee Steinfeld, Lady Antebellum, Jennifer Lopez, and many more.

This is a star-spangled extravaganza you don’t want to miss.

Don’t forget to check out The Capitol Fourth concert featuring award-winning musical artists and the National Symphony Orchestra. And after the show, make your way to the grand finale: a massive fireworks show in the nation’s capital.

Want to find an excellent vantage point for the fireworks show? We recommend anywhere on the National Mall, across the Potomac River, and from the U.S. Supreme Court Plaza.
