Owner Finds Cat Curled Up Next to Huge Bag of Drugs and Calls Police

Cats love to show off their prey, often purring with pride or even taking a little nap right on top of their prize.
After a long, satisfying night of patrolling neighborhoods and chasing down prey, every cat desires a cozy rest, just like this cat from Bristol, England.
The cat is making headlines not for hunting down the typical prey, but for catching criminals.
After a long night of hunting, this cat brought home a plastic bag filled with illegal drugs.
Avon and Somerset Police posted a photo of the bag and the contents, which appeared to be individually rolled up powders in varying hues of green, white, and light purple.
“Look what the cat dragged in,” ASPolice Ashley posted on Twitter.
“Great result in St Paul’s when a resident’s cat brought this in during the night! The owner got a bit of a shock but called us straight away!”

Avon and Somerset police explained the conversation they had with the cat’s owner, saying the cat had been “curled up next to” the bag of drugs.
“Forget police dogs, we should start training up cats,” the police department wrote on Twitter.

According to The Independent, no arrests have been made at this time.
Police are still investigating, telling The Independent that “the priority remained the safety of the owner and the pet.”
