'Happy' Wedding Party Dances Their Way Down the Aisle for Ceremony Entrance
Was your wedding traditional or more unorthodox? No two weddings are the same, though some elements of tradition typically weave into whatever ceremony the couple chooses.
Some couples like things to be very traditional: the church, the gown, a neat and tidy wedding party.
But as time moves on, more and more couples seem to find enjoyment in making their wedding day reflect who they are as a couple.
Earlier this year, a couple got married at an animal shelter. Other couples choose to invite Fido to walk down the aisle as the ring bearer.
For happy couple Jason and Dacia, making a dancy entrance into their marriage was a priority. The couple married on June 7, 2014, in a style completely their own.
When the time came for the ceremony to begin, the groomsmen entered first. The music was epic — 2001: A Space Odyssey, marking what a big day this really was for the bride and groom.
The groomsmen stood solemnly in the aisle until the music changed. Suddenly, the crew burst into dance, showing off choreographed moves to “Happy,” by Pharrell Williams.
After a few moments of dancing on their own, the bridesmaids began to dance down the aisle. They wore flirty and fun dresses, and ditched the high-heels for a more comfortable pair of Chucks.
Each bridesmaid danced her little heart out, making her way over to the groomsmen. Guests were delighted to hear the familiar tune paired with such joyful, energetic dance moves.
Two adorable flower girls shyly made their way down the aisle, wearing long dresses that matched the bridesmaids.
They started out somewhat timid, but soon opened up into adorable little dance moves of their own.
At long last, Dacia entered, wearing a beautiful gown and a huge grin. The bride showed off her skills in dancing down the aisle while wearing a form-fitting gown, with a beautiful train flowing along behind her.
The funky, zippy ceremony has gone viral online, with people loving every minute of it. Congratulations to this couple — may you always be dancing through life!
