Flight Attendant Dubbed 'World's Funniest' After This Safety Announcement Caught on Video
When Cindy Kuhn boarded her Frontier Airlines flight from Florida to Colorado, she had no reason to believe it would be anything special.
But as soon as flight attendant Daniel Sandberg grabbed the mic for the safety briefing, Kuhn knew she was in for a real treat.
With expert comedic timing and wit, Sandberg had the entire plane hanging on his words as the pre-flight passenger tension dissipated with laughter.
“He must be the world’s funniest flight attendant,” Kuhn, 55, told The Daily Mail. “He was so personable and had us all in stitches — hook, line, and sinker.”
Sandberg’s three-minute routine was crammed full of jokes while also communicating important safety protocol to passengers.
“Here at Frontier Airlines, we like to keep up with all the latest fashion trends,” Sandberg said. “In the event this flight becomes a cruise, all of you people get your own itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini.”
“Minus the itsy bitsy, teeny weeny,” he said of the yellow lifejackets, “and you get no polka dots.”
Sandberg went on to joke about where to locate a life vest for “your child with the most potential,” and gave instructions for utilizing the oxygen mask.
“Make sure to adjust your own mask before assisting your favorite child, another passenger or your husband who is definitely screaming louder than you are,” he said, as passengers roared with laughter.
“And let’s be honest,” Sandberg quipped, “Only those of you who paid the extra $49.99 get any oxygen.”
Kuhn uploaded the video to Facebook, where it has been viewed well over 13 million times.
Kuhn said she felt fortunate to be a member of the crowd on that flight, soaking up the comic routine of one of Frontier Airline’s best.
She’s thrilled that Sandberg has brought laughter to so many people in the air.
“It was absolutely hilarious, refreshing, and I think it was cherished too,” Kuhn said. “I know I’ll always cherish that moment.”
“The attendant on my next flight was a hard act to follow,” Kuhn said. “If I could, I’d request to have Daniel on every one of my flights.”
We have a feeling this young comedian is destined for greatness.
