A trip to Boston quickly turned into a scary moment that left a popular comedian shaken up.

Kevin Hart and three friends traveled to Boston on May 4, 2018, to attend the second game in the conference semifinals between the Celtics and the 76ers.

As their private jet landed at the Boston Logan International Airport, one of the tires blew out. No one was injured.

“A Gulfstream IV aircraft landed at Boston Logan International Airport at 3:29 pm and blew a left main gear tire,” said the Federal Aviation Administration. “The runway was closed temporarily to make sure all debris was cleared.”

While it startled the four friends, Hart said that the pilot “handled the situation perfectly.”

After the passengers deplaned by stairs on the runway, the plane was towed back to the ramp. Hart shared a video on Snapchat where he showed the torn up tire. He was still trying to calm down from the incident.

“Your boy’s got angels on his back! I’ve got real life angels on my back,” the comedian said. He then began naming relatives, including his mother, who he believes were looking out for him.

Later, he shared a picture of he and his friends posing next to the busted plane tire.

His caption read, “God is Good with a capital G…Had our first serious Airplane scare today. Our planes tire busted on one side as we were landing and s*** got real for a second. No body was harmed…”

“Our pilot handled the situation perfectly. Once again God is GOOD!!!! #Blessed …P.S you can tell that spank is still shaken up by the way he is posing ???”

Hart was eventually able to calm down and was later seen that evening laughing and enjoying the playoff game they traveled to see.

In his Snapchat story on the runway, Hart said, “I’m protected. I truly believe it. I always have, but when things like this happen, it’s confirmation. Confirmation! God is good. So is life.”
