The last Golden Buzzer was hit on this week’s episode of “America’s Got Talent,” and once you hear 15-year-old Makayla Phillips’ powerhouse voice, you’ll understand why.

Phillips performed Demi Lovato’s “Warrior” and as soon as she opened her mouth, her voice brilliantly filled the auditorium with great tone and pitch.

Her confidence on stage didn’t go unnoticed. The California teen has past experience in musical theater in productions such as “Aladdin,” “Wizard of Oz,” and “Alice in Wonderland.”

All of the judges watched her performance with smiles on their faces.

Once she finished her audition, Heidi Klum immediately began praising her.

“I love you. I think you are absolutely incredible,” the AGT judge started. “I mean, I love the whole package. I love your smile. I love how you project to everyone. Your voice is incredible.”

After a small pause, she looked at Phillips and said, “You know what I’m going to do for you?”

She pressed the coveted Golden Buzzer and Phillips immediately started jumping for joy.

After the initial celebration calmed down, Simon Cowell was able to share his thoughts.

“Well, I’m going to tell you when I shut my eyes and listen to you sing, that was not the same person,” he said, amazed that the 15-year-old was able to fill the room as well as she did.

He continued, “That’s a really difficult song to sing. You’ve got amazing presence, great confidence. This is what this show is all about. Good for you.”

Phillips will be able to bypass the next round of auditions and go straight to the live performances.

“I think I just found the winner,” Heidi Klum exclaimed from the stage.
