Adorable Dog Can't Stop Growling When Bear Attacks Leonardo DiCaprio on TV
We all have that one pet, either now or from our childhoods, that we are endlessly loyal to.
Not only that, but we fiercely believe that our pets are fiercely loyal to us, too.
Whether it’s a turtle that shows absolutely no ounce of affection, or a rabbit whose hops we mistake as playing tag with us, we believe they they are showing their loyalty to us as adorable pets.
But dogs are creatures who are full of personality and are built to be loyal to their owners no matter what.
This is clearly displayed in thousands of stories across the world, where dogs illustrate their fiercely devoted characters to their owners or their bravery in circumstances of danger.
Take the 17-year-old, partially blind blue heeler named Max who was “hailed an Australian hero” for refusing to leave 3-year-old Aurora’s side when she went missing in Queensland, Australia.
These four-legged companions sense danger and understand when they must be alert. They understand emotions and distress.
They even understand loss, and they often mourn just as we do.
This was exactly the case for Indigo and Blue — an elderly mother-daughter duo who refused to leave their elderly owner’s side for a whole two weeks when he had passed away.
There’s simply no doubt that dogs are protective. They don’t like danger and want to protect people as much as possible.
For English bulldog Khaleesi, she desires to protect people, even through the television screen. When her favorite actor Leonardo DiCaprio was getting mauled by bear in “The Revenant,” Khaleesi showed her distress and anger over the situation.
Khaleesi sat directly in front of the television, staring upwards as the famous actor laid on the ground, clearly distressed and hurt. She patiently watched for the next thrill.
Out of nowhere came a bear approaching DiCaprio in the woods. Khaleesi began to show her discomfort with the suspense by lowly growling.
Then, as the bear attacked DiCaprio, Khaleesi began to bark with full might, keeping her eyes on the screen the entire time.
The grueling sight of the bear put Khaleesi over the edge, as she inched closer to the screen and tried to be as menacing as possible. And as the bear rolled down the hill after DiCaprio’s gruesome slaying of the vicious creature, Khaleesi continued barking, just to make sure that the ferocious and dangerous bear was really finished attacking.
And apparently this is a common act for the English bulldog. Her owners often film Khaleesi’s adorable loyalty, like when she watched the thriller “Don’t Breathe” and was “determined to protect the film’s lead actress.”
At least we know one thing — Khaleesi sure does love the thrillers!
These proud English bulldog owners now know that Khaleesi has their backs. What a fierce loyalty this dog has!
