Do you like everything pumpkin spice?

Chocolate chip cookies are everyone’s favorite, but with the fall comes everyone’s favorite flavor — that’s right, pumpkin spice!

These pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies are perfect for any party, family get-together, or snack as you watch the colorful leaves fall from their branches onto the cooling ground.

In less than two hours, you can have this delicious fall cookie recipe wafting the delicious scents of fall from your oven into your home.

All you need, according to Delish, is:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

First, preheat your oven to 375° and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.

Whisk together the dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, pumpkin spice and salt, in a small bowl.

In a large or mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to combine the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.

Add in the pumpkin, egg and vanilla extract and beat to combine. Slowly add the flour mixture and beat on low until no raw flour appears. Fold in the chocolate chips then refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Finally, scoop balls of cookie dough, about 1 inch in diameter, onto the baking sheets.

Make sure they are spaced apart at least 2 inches, and bake them for 12 minutes until they are golden around the edges.

And just like that, you have the best fall chocolate chip cookie dessert!
