Prom Date Loses His Mind After Seeing Teen Girl Walk for First Time in 10 Months
Prom is an extremely special time for high schoolers. Not only does it mark the quickly approaching end of a school year, but it is also a time where teenagers get to dress up for a night of fun.
The girls always look stunning in their traditionally long dresses, and the boys look handsome in their suits.
But for one Utah teenager, the night was more than one to remember.
Morgan shared a touching video of her perfect surprise for her date — and the rest of her friends — and it has since gone viral.
The teenager has not been able to walk for 10 months, sharing on Twitter, “I wasn’t born with this. This happened almost a year ago.”
The video of her surprise for her date, Tarik, was captioned with “After not being able to walk with my own two legs for 10 months… I surprised my prom date with this.”
Tarik is standing at her door, corsage in hand, and Morgan shakily walks toward him. His reaction is priceless!
He stumbles back, completely in shock, before running to hug her asking, “How did you do that?!”
It is clear that Tarik has been there for Morgan during this hard journey, but she attributed all her progress to her faith in God.

“I believe God is real and is very much alive. I know I could not have done this without believing in my faith,” she wrote.
“Thank you for the support but the only reason I got to this point was because I knew God was going to get me.”
Morgan was able to walk into her own prom, and she was also named prom queen. It was a night she will probably remember for the rest of her life.
