Royal Caribbean Wants To Pay Someone $136,000 To Travel World & Share Adventures on Social Media

Royal Caribbean is searching high and low for the ultimate job candidate to fill the role of “Shore Explorer.”
This sweet position will include a £104,000 ($136,000) salary and the chance to travel the world.
The shore explorer will document their travels on social media specifically for Royal Caribbean.
Royal Caribbean UK announced the dream job on Monday on Instagram. The application process is in the form of a contest, with entries welcome until March 1.
“Want to travel the world AND get paid for doing it? ?? APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN for the Royal Caribbean #ShoreExplorer Apprentice-ship!” Royal Carribean UK wrote in its Instagram post.
“Share your best travel experience as a post, story or IGTV tagging us and #ShoreExplorer to apply! ✔️”
The role of shore explorer will also require the lucky winner to travel aboard Royal Caribbean’s cruise liner to a number of exotic locations.
Winners will be treated to adventures at the company’s Perfect Day Island at CocoCay in the Bahamas, Alaska, Lisbon, Portugal, Norway, Dubai and Osaka, Japan between May and August 2019.
To fill the role of shore explorer job, applicants need to be at least 21 years old and have a valid passport.
You must also be a British or Irish citizen to be eligible for the position.
“We’re looking for an adrenaline junkie who is not only hungry for adventure, but also has a unique ability to capture a moment and tell a story in a simple social media post,” a Royal Caribbean spokesperson told Business Insider.
“We already offer a huge amount of incredible, once-in-a-lifetime, on-land experiences as part of our cruise holidays – from zip-wires and white water rafting, to walking on glaciers and hot air balloon rides.
“By launching this position, we’re hoping that the winning candidate will take our shore excursion programme to the next level,” they added.
If you are accepted as Royal Caribbean’s shore explorer, you’ll work alongside the cruise liner’s “Instagrammer-in-Chief” Russ Francis, according to the Evening Standard.
This could be the best job that anyone could hope for. The ability to take to the seas and see the world as your job – life just doesn’t get better than that.
