After 9 Miscarriages, Celebrity Gabrielle Union Announces Birth of Miracle Baby

Share

Nothing is more joyous than having a little bundle of joy to call your own; it’s a miracle that every parent wishes for.

For some it is more difficult than others to get pregnant, leaving a wake of sadness that never seems to go away.

Gabrielle Union and her husband Dwayne Wade have felt this pain, but the pair has finally welcomed the miracle baby they were hoping for, according to the Huffington Post.

Union, who has suffered several miscarriages, got the little girl she had been dreaming of for years.

The happy parents received their little gift from a surrogate on Wednesday.

Wade has three sons of his own, but this new little girl is the first child Union and Wade have had together.

The exuberant couple announced the arrival of their daughter on social media the very next day saying that their “miracle baby” had finally peeked her head into the world.

Union has revealed how hard it has been for her to get pregnant in her book “We’re Going to Need More Wine,” telling readers about the several miscarriages she endured trying to get pregnant.

“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” Union wrote in her tell-all memoir.

“For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”
