Cat Curls Up in Little Girl's Lap, Falls Asleep as She Reads Her Story
Cats are all different. Some may prefer certain people to be near them, and others want to be fed only specific foods.
They have a special hiding place where they will always go to take a nap, like under the couch or in a pile of pillows.
Some love to have full conversations with you, while others are quiet or don’t have the ability to meow.
One thing is for sure: Almost every cat parent will love their baby no matter what.
Cats can often do things that bring laughter and joy to their owners. Rolling around on the ground, climbing tall objects and then falling down those objects are always moments that brighten our days.
They also get skittish over the smallest objects. Some worry about the vacuum and go running when they hear it coming out, and others jump at the sight of a common green vegetable.
Then there are those moments when you are lying in bed after a bad day, and your cat almost knows that you need them as they curl up and purr by your side.
But it’s even more special when they just curl up next to you because they want to be close.
For Bailey the cat, this seemed like one of those days for her.
Bailey decided to jump onto the couch near her owner, Abby, and curled up right into her lap.
Abby decided to help Bailey fall asleep by reading her a story, and she curled up closer as Abby read her the book.
“They were married, but, kind of family, but they had grandpa and a grandma,” Abby said quietly. Before she knew it, Bailey was nodding off in her arms.
The video soon became a hit as the two spent time together, and Good Morning America took notice and shared it on their Facebook page. Abby and Bailey have received 1.4 million views since it was posted, and people are loving every moment of it.
There are many moments that an owner can have with their cat, and this moment between Abby and Bailey is definitely one of the sweetest.
