Kevin Spacey Back in the Spotlight After Disturbing Sexual Assault Allegation Surfaces

Share

Hollywood elitists are better than you and me — just ask them.

Nothing could be further from the truth, of course, but that hasn’t stopped the frequently far-left entertainment crowd from acting smug as they scold the rest of the country and lecture America on endless issues.

The reality, which conservatives have long suspected, is that much of Hollywood has deep problems. That became all too apparent as the #MeToo movement arose during the fallout from the Harvey Weinstein scandal, when the close liberal ally and friend of the Clintons was exposed as a shameless manipulator of young women.

Now yet another Hollywood liberal is back in the spotlight — and it’s not anything to celebrate. Already-disgraced actor Kevin Spacey faces charges of indecent assault and battery after he allegedly took advantage of a male teenager in Massachusetts.

“A criminal complaint … was issued on Thursday by Nantucket District Court Clerk Magistrate Ryan Kearney following a public show-cause hearing,” ABC News reported on Monday. “The criminal complaint was issued ‘against Kevin S. Fowler, also known as Kevin Spacey.'”

Spacey became famous in films such as “American Beauty” and “Seven,” before starring in the like Netflix series “House of Cards.”

The actor was fired from that Netflix show last November after numerous men made credible claims that Spacey had sexually harassed or assaulted them in instances going back decades.

For his part, Spacey seemed to shrug off the allegations and tried to pivot the issue into a platform for coming out as gay. But it looks like past actions may be finally catching up with him.

“Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey is facing a felony charge of indecent assault and battery on an 18-year-old busboy in Massachusetts stemming from an incident in July 2016 at a Nantucket bar, according to a criminal complaint filed in Nantucket District Court,” ABC News summarized.

Does Hollywood have a sexual harassment problem even deeper than we thought?

We won’t go into graphic detail of what allegedly happened, but suffice it to say that Spacey is accused of using alcohol to ply that young busboy and then sexually grope him.

“The victim, my son, was a star-struck, straight, 18-year-old young man who had no idea that the famous actor was an alleged sexual predator or that he was about to become his next victim,” the mother of the claimant said during a 2017 news conference.

“Kevin Spacey bought him drink, after drink, after drink and when my son was drunk, Spacey made his move and sexually assaulted him,” she alleged.

Spacey isn’t doing himself any favors with his defense. In a YouTube video the actor posted to his official verified Twitter account on Monday, Spacey seemed to make narcissistic boasts about how the world “wants” him and loves his behavior, all while in character as his lost “House of Cards” role.

“I shocked you with my honesty, but mostly I challenged you and made you think. And you trusted me even though you knew you shouldn’t,” Spacey said in the bizarre video.

“So we’re not done, no matter what anyone says. Besides, I know what you want: You want me back. Of course, some believed everything and have just been waiting with bated breath to hear me confess it all. They’re just dying to have me declare that everything said is true and that I got what I deserved,” the recently charged actor declared.

In a strange and tone-deaf tangent about demanding facts before judging (where was he and the rest of the left during the Kavanaugh debacle?) Spacey continued his video rant.

“But you wouldn’t believe the worst without evidence, would you? You wouldn’t rush to judgment without facts, would you? Did you? No, not you. You’re smarter than that,” the actor scolded.

“Of course they’re going to say I’m being disrespectful, not playing by the rules, like I ever played by anyone’s rules before. I never did and you loved it,” he continued.

We’ll see if a jury “loves him” after this case moves forward, but the actor’s frankly creepy and self-centered behavior doesn’t instill much confidence.
