Joanna Gaines Admits to Having These Strange Cravings with Baby #5

Share

A first pregnancy is always a time of new discoveries. Morning sickness, weight gain and, of course, food cravings are all a part of the show.

By the time a woman is on their third or fourth child, you would think that they would have the drill down. But sometimes those food cravings can turn into something unbelievable.

Forget the pickles and ice cream! For 39-year-old HGTV host Joanna Gaines, it’s the simple things that she has a hankering for.

Joanna and her husband, Chip, are pregnant with their fifth child and Joanna said that she is having no problem packing on the needed weight.

But her food cravings are so surprising that she decided to post them on social media.

At the top of the list? Children’s cereal Fruity Pebbles and ranch dressing!

Joanna wrote on Instagram, ‘Woke up this morning at 2:30 AM and was craving fruity pebbles, a pimento cheese sandwich, chicken spaghetti, deviled eggs, and ranch dressing.”

That’s a lot of cravings for the early morning hours. Surprisingly, the foods that Joanna wants the most are simple.

I mean, who doesn’t like a deviled egg and ranch dressing? Maybe just not with Fruity Pebbles.

But what happens when there’s no Fruity Pebbles in the house? Joanna decided to bake an old favorite — chocolate chip cookies — a recipe that she will soon share in her new cookbook, The Magnolia Table Cookbook.

She posted an awesome photo of her freshly made cookies on Instagram, making her fans’ mouths water. She has also been sharing images of the baby bump along the way.

“There’s no hiding this baby bump anymore,” Joanna said. While the couple had decided to leave their television show, “Fixer Upper,” they are working together to open a new restaurant.

With cookies in the early hours of the morning, and final tastings for the new restaurant, Joanna is sure to keep those cravings satisfied.

She is also keeping busy with her new cookbook.

But the couple is still focused on their family. “We want to make sure that we’re here for our family during really crucial, pivotal points in its journey,” said Chip.

Perhaps slower times are ahead for this growing family, times focused on their new restaurant venture.
