James Woods Blisters Ilhan Omar for Despicable 'Some People Did Something' Statement on 9/11
Actor James Woods had the perfect response to the despicable 9/11 comment made by far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar.
Omar is facing widespread backlash for her sickening comments about 9/11 during a speech last month for the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
The anti-Semitic representative didn’t refer to 9/11 as a horrific terrorist attack that killed thousands of Americans.
Instead, she brushed 9/11 off as a day when “some people did something.”
First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as “some people who did something”.
Unbelievable. https://t.co/IKtoZWWmIT

And Woods had the perfect response.
“‘Some people did something…’ #IlhanOmar,” the actor tweeted, highlighting a picture of the destruction that came in the wake of that horrific terrorist attack.

Woods’ tweet is the perfect response to Omar’s disgusting comment because it shows the real, devastating results of the terrorist attack.
No American can look at the photographs from 9/11 and describe the events of that day as “some people did something.” Nearly 3,000 Americans lost their lives, and people lost their loved ones.
Despite the clearly disgusting comments made by Omar, her fellow far-left freshman representatives came to her defense, including New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
Ocasio-Cortez claimed that criticism of Omar’s sickening comments “is an incitement of violence against progressive women of color” and “not a normal level of political debate or rhetoric.”

Ocasio-Cortez is once again using bizarre mental gymnastics — it’s not an “incitement of violence” to condemn someone for belittling a terrorist attack that killed thousands of Americans.
And the issue here isn’t Omar’s “politics” or far-left “progressive” ideas. The issue is that Omar is definitively anti-American.
In an MSNBC interview, Tlaib claimed that Omar’s comments were taken out of context.
“They do this all the time to us, especially women of color. They do that. They take our words out of context because they’re afraid, because we speak truth,” Tlaib said.

First of all, it would never be appropriate to refer to 9/11 as “some people did something,” no matter what the context.
But the context makes the comments seem even worse. Omar made the comments during an event for CAIR, which has potential ties to radical Islamic groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.
The fact that Omar belittled 9/11 at an event for a terror-linked organization speaks volumes: She is anti-American.
