Flashback: Hollywood Star Takes EPIC Public Stand for Easter... Liberals Mortified
While most people deny the true reason for the season for many of America’s public holidays like Easter and Christmas, one actor Hollywood decided to stand for the truth, and his epic Easter message from 2016 is just one of the reasons he is so loved by the masses.
Chris Pratt, of “Parks and Recreation” and “Jurassic World” fame, has always been one to stand out from the typical Hollywood crowd. He stands for something bigger than himself. Easter 2016 was no exception, when the actor decided to pull out all the stops.
We aren’t talking Easter bunny and Easter egg hunts. What Pratt did took this to a whole new level. He sent out a series of Instagram photos on Easter Sunday showing himself and two friends commemorating the holiday with a special sign.
The sign, was actually a symbol… a symbol of Christ’s resurrection. A cross. Pratt and the other men carried the cross up a hill, even though they did have to stop for a break or two.
When the men reached the top of the hill, they dug a hole …
And erected the cross … cementing it into the ground.
The result was breathtaking
“HAPPY EASTER!” Pratt wrote in the final Instagram picture post, which featured all three men in front of the finished product.
The post did not detail where the cross was standing, but the image itself send Pratt’s followers crazy. People support his decision to show the truth of Easter … as do we.
One user commended Pratt saying, “In this world of commercialization and political correctness the true meaning of Easter gets lost. Well done for reminding many that it’s about Jesus and God.”
“I’m so happy to see a Christian in Hollywood 🙂 You’re faith is evident in the joy you have 🙂 Thanks for being a role model :)” another wrote.
Another commenter wrote, “Coolest guy in Hollywood, hands down.”
Way to go, Chris Pratt!
