After Hillary Surfaces To Give Her Take on Mueller Report, Don Jr. Reminds Her Who Really Obstructed Justice

Share

Donald Trump Jr. gave failed 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton a reminder about who really obstructed justice.

Since Clinton’s humiliating defeat by President Donald Trump in 2016, she has occasionally crawled out of the woodwork to offer her terrible political commentary.

Clinton showed up to a  Time magazine event on Tuesday and gave her opinion on Trump’s alleged “obstruction” after the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russian “collusion” investigation.

Mueller’s report found that Trump did not collude with the Russians to influence the 2016 investigation and declined to make a prosecutorial judgment on the issue of obstruction.

To Trump and Republicans, Mueller’s report makes it obvious that collusion didn’t happen and Trump’s alleged “obstruction” was an understandable frustration with a politically motivated witch hunt.

Furthermore, Mueller admitted in his report that some of Trump’s alleged “obstruction” attempts “involved facially lawful acts” within his authority under the Constitution.

But that didn’t stop Clinton from peddling obstruction claims on Tuesday.

“I think there is enough there that any other person who had engaged in those acts would certainly have been indicted,” Clinton said.

“The whole matter of obstruction was very directly sent to the Congress,” Clinton added, hinting at possible impeachment proceedings.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, Trump Jr. reminded Clinton that she is a bit hypocritical for accusing others of obstruction.

“It’s her total lack of self awareness, after bleachbit and hammering iPhones under subpoena (obstruction), why Hillary was the worst candidate in the history of the Presidency. Well one of many reasons,” Trump Jr. said.

“I’m so thankful she’s not leading this country… and never will.”

Trump Jr. is right — Clinton destroyed potential evidence after receiving a subpoena from the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

Should Hillary Clinton still be investigated over her emails?

Clinton’s team deleted over 33,000 emails that were dubbed “personal” after she was issued the subpoena, as even the liberals at Politifact had to acknowledge in a piece published just before the 2016 election. (Politifact still tried to absolve Clinton, of course.)

According to FBI documents from 2016, one of Clinton’s aides physically destroyed her old phones by smashing them with a hammer, Politico reported at the time.

Clinton’s team destroyed potential evidence while under subpoena, and she has the nerve to accuse Trump of dubious “obstruction” attempts.

Don Jr. called her out on it. The American people should, too.
