HGTV's 'Brady Bunch' Home Renovation Is Finally Complete
After months of hard work and painstaking attention to detail, HGTV has announced that the ‘Brady Bunch’ house renovation is complete.
On May 24, the network released a photo of many of the original cast members standing on the infamous ‘Brady Bunch’ staircase inside the home alongside the HGTV stars who helped make the home renovation a reality.
The network brought the Brady siblings and HGTV stars together to film the big reveal, which has yet to be released on television.

HGTV listed the names of the stars who were present on reveal day:
“TV siblings Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby) and Susan Olsen (Cindy) were present,” HGTV stated on the “A Very Brady Renovation” section of its site.
“And representing for HGTV were Jonathan and Drew Scott (Property Brothers), Mina Starsiak and Karen E Laine (Good Bones), siblings Leanne and Steve Ford (Restored by the Fords), Jasmine Roth (Hidden Potential) and Lara Spencer (Flea Market Flip).”
The USC Marching Band even made an appearance for the special occasion, parading down the street and playing — you guessed it — The ‘Brady Bunch’ Theme song.

As ‘Brady Bunch’ fans may or may not recall, only the exterior of the famous home was seen on TV. The interior of the home was not used for filming.
After ultimately placing the winning bid on the sale of the home in 2018, HGTV promised that the network would “restore The Brady Bunch home to its 1970s glory as only HGTV can.”
HGTV team members had the challenging task of making each room of the interior of the home, as well as the backyard, match the television sets that viewers were used to seeing.
They asked the public for help at times, launching a fun idea dubbed, “A Very Brady Scavenger Hunt,” seeking specific vintage items that would make each room in the house complete.
Apparently, the results were perfect, as Maureen McCormick repeatedly said, “I feel like I’m on Stage 5 at the Paramount lot.”
While the rest of us have to wait a bit longer before we can glimpse the home on television, HGTV promises it will be worth the wait.
