Is 'Hamberder' The New Covfefe? Leftists Are Losing It Over Harmless Typo
Echoing the ridiculous “covfefe” controversy of 2017, liberals are losing their minds over another harmless typo from President Donald Trump.
On Monday night, the Clemson Tigers visited the White House to celebrate their victory at the College Football Playoff National Championship.
The White House kitchen is closed because of the government shutdown, so Trump dug into his own pockets to feed the players.
As Trump wrote on Twitter Tuesday morning, he served the football players massive amounts of fast food including hamburgers.
But Trump didn’t initially type “hamburgers.” Instead, he typed “hamberder.”
Trump later recognized the typo and published an identical tweet with the correct spelling.
Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamburgers etc. Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!

For as much as Trump tweets, it’s inevitable that he’ll make a typo at least once every few years.
But some liberals are using Trump’s minor typo as an opportunity to viciously attack him.

Hamberders???? Bwaaahaaaaahaaa. You are such an embarrassment.

One Twitter liberal called Trump an “idiot” and claimed that he “believes college athletes don’t deserve respect.”
Hamberder (n) – Like a hamburger, but served by an idiot who believes college athletes don’t deserve respect.

If Trump didn’t respect college athletes, he wouldn’t have had them visiting the White House, much less bought them food.
That tweet highlights the worst part about this controversy — everyone is overlooking Trump’s kind gesture.
If former President Barack Obama purchased food for college athletes, he’d have been endlessly praised.

Far-left media outlet Vox published an article titled: “Trump’s tweet about ‘hamberders’ illustrates just how effortlessly he lies.”
The author slammed Trump as a liar for claiming that he bought 1,000 hamburgers because he’d earlier said the number was 300. So he might have been exaggerating. It’s not exactly on a par with a whopper like pushing Obamacare by telling Americans that if they like their doctors, they can keep their doctor. Do liberals want another special counsel to look into it?
Like other liberals, the Vox writer completely ignored Trump’s generous and kind act.
But all this is expected behavior from the left.
In 2017, the left-wing media attacked Trump for accidentally typing “covfefe” instead of covering actress Kathy Griffin’s terrible Trump beading photo.
It doesn’t matter how much good Trump does — the left will find a way to attack him.
