Guy Fieri Strikes Again with Act of Kindness, Feeds California Fire First Responders
Television icon and celebrity chef Guy Fieri is known as much for his big personality as his great taste in food.
Possibly most recognized for hosting the Emmy-nominated show “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” Fieri spends his time cooking, eating and serving up tickets to Flavortown.
But what most people might not know is that the celeb didn’t start off big, In fact, Fieri is really just your average guy who loves good food.
He’s been a dishwasher and even sold pretzels from a cart. He supports several charities including Make-a-Wish and Cooking with Kids.
Well, now Fieri is cooking up meals for the first responders in his community who have been affected by the California wildfires.
KTVU reported that the Northern California native showed up at Butte College where he proceeded to cook and serve meals to first responders.

The Butte County Sheriff’s Office posted photos of the impromptu cookout on Facebook, thanking Fieri for his efforts in supporting those who work tirelessly to help others.
“Thank you so much Guy for filling our bellies and lifting our spirits,” the post read. Several commenters shouted out their gratitude as well.
Some could call this a publicity stunt, but this isn’t the first time (nor do we expect it to be the last) that Fieri has stepped out to cook meals apart from a film crew.
KTVU noted that Fieri “helped evacuees of the Carr Fire” in July and also cooked meals for fire victims in Santa Rosa in October of 2017.
“In today’s tumultuous world, it’s amazing to see our fire fighters, military, law enforcement and first responders come together to rescue our communities devastated by fire,” he wrote on Twitter.
“So many great people stepping up to take care of one another.” You are one of those great people, Guy! Thank you for serving others in your community.
