Fox Invited 70 Dem Reps To Talk About Mueller Hearing, Not 1 Dared To Show His or Her Face

If Democrats truly want to win the White House in 2020, they’d better find a candidate who’s willing to publicly admit mistakes.

Until Wednesday, leftists were tripping over themselves in anticipation of ex-special counsel Robert Mueller‘s testimony before the House Intelligence and Judiciary committees.

Many Democrats — namely Reps. Jerrold Nadler of New York and Adam Schiff of California — were all but drooling over the prospect of grilling Mueller and coaxing him to magically unveil evidence that might prove President Donald Trump is guilty of collusion and obstruction.

Instead of Christmas in July, they got a polar-opposite reality check: Mueller’s lackluster appearance and lump-of-coal answers proved devastating to the Democrats’ cause.

Visions of Trump impeachment dancing in their heads dissolved into their worst nightmare. The former FBI director served up no revelations Wednesday; as with the release of the Mueller report, disappointment was the order of the day.

Disappointment with a side of embarrassment and humility, that is. In fact, this week’s travesty on Capitol Hill has left dozens of Dems speechless.

Just ask “Fox News @ Night” host Shannon Bream, whose open invitation to appear on her program was met with the sounds of silence.

Do you think Democrats should accept Fox News' invitation?

“So, if you’re a House Dem and willing to talk about the Mueller hearing – let us know ASAP,” she tweeted.

Nadler, Schiff and their red-faced sidekicks are likely sulking or cursing behind closed doors while expressing their disdain via social media.

But they’re undoubtedly saving face by avoiding Fox’s bright lights — perhaps because they finally realize American registered voters couldn’t care less about the Russia probe.

How’s that for bold leadership? The same Trump naysayers who claim he isn’t fit to lead our country lack the maturity and guts to have a televised tête-à-tête with Bream.

At least one Twitter user called out Schiff, chair of the House Intelligence Committee, by insisting it’s time for him to put up or shut up.

Lo and behold, Schiff is busy sifting (Schiffting?) through the left’s meltdown, not unlike his part-time California compatriots, including Michael Moore.

Of course, those Democrats probably assume discussing Mueller’s testimony on Fox News is the ultimate no-win situation. With that attitude, the same will be true of the 2020 election.
