The horrific story of Brandon Browner continues to get worse.

The two-time Super Bowl champion has officially been indicted on four felony charges, the most serious being attempted murder.

Browner was indicted by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday.

Browner was arrested Sunday morning after a woman called police to say a man was attempting to break through a locked window.

La Verne, California, police discovered that the woman was an ex-girlfriend who had a restraining order against the former player.

Browner had fled the scene with a Rolex watch valued at approximately $20,000, and was captured two hours later, police said.

In addition to the attempted murder charge, Browner faces felony robbery, burglary and false imprisonment charges.

The District Attorney’s Office also filed two misdemeanor counts of cruelty to a child.

Do you think Brandon Browner is guilty as charged?

Browner, 33, now faces the possibility of life in prison.

On the field, Browner was a hard-hitting cornerback, winning one championship as a member of the Seattle Seahawks’ “Legion of Doom” and another with New England.

He also played one season with New Orleans.

A comeback attempt with Seattle ended with his release prior to the 2016 season.

Browner played on the edge during his career, but he has had several brushes with the law since leaving the game.

Browner is being held on $10 million bail, and is scheduled to be arraigned on July 30.
