Fmr. Obama Adviser Under Fire After Surveillance Footage Catches Him Committing Unthinkable Sexual Act

Share

It’s the latest blow to the Obama presidential legacy – and it’s loathsome.

The news was mostly drowned by the presidential election in November 2016, so many Americans might not have heard about William Mendoza, the former Education Department official in Barack Obama’s administration who lost his job after being caught taking pictures up a woman’s skirt in a Washington Metro station.

But a video of the incident published by the U.K. Daily Mail over the weekend gives a literal picture of what creepy, criminal sexual obsession looks like.

According to the Daily Mail, the video was obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request that sought both the report on Mendoza’s arrest and the surveillance camera footage that backed it up.

Check out the video on The Mail’s website here. (Warning: There’s nothing graphic, but it’s seriously creepy.)

Besides resigning his $140,000-a-year job as executive director of the White House Initiative on American Indian and Alaska Native Education, Mendoza received a 90-day suspended jail sentence, one year of probation and a $100 fine, according to The Daily Caller.

No American – man or woman – should be satisfied that a creep like this got off so lightly. But women should be especially outraged.

His attorney, Paul Kiyonaga, did not respond to a request for comment, according to the Daily Mail, but has previously said Mendoza had gotten help of some kind to deal with this kind of behavior.

“He’s received treatment for the underlying issues that gave rise to this incident, and, with the strong support of his family, is moving forward productively with his life,” Kiyonaga told the Mail.

Are you glad the Obama adminstration is history?

Well, that’s super. It’s nice to think the woman whose victimization was so clearly documented in Mendoza’s arrest might be pleased to hear the guy who followed her in a Metro station to take pictures of her most private parts without her knowing it got some help.

Maybe other women Mendoza might have victimized would be glad to hear it too. Because according to news reports, there could well have been other women – and no one really knows how many.

As Fox News put it:

“Despite only pleading guilty to one count, Mendoza was allegedly accused of attempting to take upskirt photos at least four times on his government-issued phone in July 2016 but resigned before the Obama administration could complete its probe into his conduct.”

And the Daily Mail added:

“He was also allegedly caught looking at footage, apparently filmed in secret, of a woman in her underwear getting changed in a dressing room. It is not known if he recorded the video himself.”

A real Prince Charming.

Besides taking pictures up women’s skirts, Mendoza’s other bad headlines include an altercation in October 2015 when Mendoza allegedly attacked an autistic Native American man for wearing a Washington Redskins jersey.

Mendoza, a member of the Oglala-Sicangu Lakota tribe, considered the jersey offensive to American Indians. He acknowledged there was a physical altercation (at a powwow both attended) but denied attacking the man and was never charged, even though his accuser required three surgeries and suffered a broken arm, broken teeth and a black eye.

Evidently, investigators took a suspiciously light approach to dealing with the alleged attack – probably because of Mendoza’s political connections.

Had he been a normal American citizen without a job title in the Obama administration when cops were investigating that 2015 incident, it’s a good chance Mendoza wouldn’t have been running free in 2016, with a taxpayer-funded iPhone, finding women to victimize in a Metro station.

Mendoza’s arrest in November 2016 — the closing months of the Obama administration — was probably missed by most Americans, but the Daily Mail story has him under fire again — and reminding America of the kind of overlords the Obama Democrats actually put in charge of the country.

For behavior like this, “loathsome” isn’t strong enough of a word.
