As Feds Probe Her Foreign Ties, Omar Surfaces to Share Stage with 'Dangerous' Known Terror Supporter
I don’t know that there’s any Democrat who should be seen in public with terror sympathizer and commie shock-streamer Hasan Piker, but I definitely know the one who absolutely shouldn’t: Rep. Ilhan Omar, if that even is her real name.
We’re talking about the Minnesota Democrat and the Twitch champagne socialist, so guess what she did?
In what may be the most self-sabotaging thing Omar will do this week — gotta hedge, because it’ll doubtlessly have competition — the “Squad” member shared the stage Monday with Piker over the objections of state Democrats.
According to Fox News, Rep. Angie Craig called Piker “polarizing and dangerous,” adding that Omar’s decision to appear on stage with him was “a mistake.” Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who’s aiming to become the state’s next governor, called Piker’s past statements “reckless and unacceptable.”
Piker, he of “America deserved 9/11” fame, has become a bit of an unwanted celebrity this cycle.
Abdul El-Sayed has basically disowned his dalliances with Piker during the Michigan senatorial primaries, referring to him as a Twitch streamer from California now that his love for Hamas and al-Qaeda is making voters think twice about a guy who seems to care a lot more about Gaza than he does Grand Rapids.
So, it’s a bit of a story that not only would Omar embrace Piker at this late stage, but that Democrats would push back. It’s the first time we’ve seen the party actively question her choices since an Oct. 12 raid on her Washington, D.C., home in connection with alleged immigration offenses.
It’s since emerged that Ilhan Omar likely isn’t her real name, that she almost certainly falsified her birthdate, and that if she didn’t marry her brother so that he could get permanent residency in the United States, the preponderance of the evidence certainly makes it look like she did.
Not that this fazed Omar in the slightest. “It tracks for me. That’s kind of most of my weeks,” she told Piker while they were streaming Monday.
Rep. Ilhan Omar jokes with Hasan Piker about the attention they both receive from conservative media, suggesting they wouldn’t appear on TV nearly as often if people weren’t so tired of looking at the “Botox faces” of Republicans, whom she refers to as “fascists.”
The conversation then shifts to Omar’s “tumultuous” past week, which saw federal agents raid her Washington, D.C., home as part of an ongoing criminal investigation into alleged immigration fraud.
Omar seems unfazed, remarking, “But it tracks for me. That’s kind of most of my weeks.”

Looking at Omar flirting with Piker, you can almost see him slated to become her fourth husband.
As much as one isn’t inclined to have sympathy for a man who streams for eight hours a day with a framed picture of the World Trade Center getting hit on 9/11 behind him, that prospect does wrench a bit of it out of the stoniest of conservative hearts.
At the event itself, appearing with state Sen. Omar Fateh, Omar continued her febrile rants about the Republicans, or — as she called it — the “pedophile protection party.”
(Check those Epstein files again for who he seemed to be more in tune with, Ilhan.)
“But Minnesota doesn’t send people who are corrupt and are interested in enriching themselves,” she said. “And Minnesota does not come after their refugees, they send one to Congress.”
There’s some irony in Rep. Ilhan Omar closing out her appearance at tonight’s I’m the Host Now event with Omar Fateh and Hasan Piker by declaring:
“That Minnesota doesn’t send people who are corrupt and are interested in enriching themselves.”
Omar has faced repeated financial scrutiny over the years, including campaign-finance violations and questions surrounding her husband’s businesses.
Her disclosures initially valued those businesses at up to $30 million, prompting scrutiny from House Oversight Chairman James Comer. In April, she amended her disclosure citing accounting errors.
And just this month, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro confirmed a new federal investigation into Omar’s financial disclosures.

That’s also probably not a point in Minnesota’s favor, given that it’s also come out that Omar’s father almost certainly shouldn’t have been a refugee, given his high-ranking military role for Somalia’s brutal dictator.
But then, the stupidities here are so fantastic they defy description. It’s pretty amazing when Hasan Piker hosts an event for two elected politicians, with their entire party warning them against holding it because of Piker’s tendency to throw verbal Molotov cocktails, and the most embarrassing pull-quotes come from Ilhan Whatever-Her-Name-Is, D-“The Squad.” A certain kind of perverse respect is due.

And, if you haven’t been paying attention, this is what the Democrats have been signing up for by defending her for all these years.
Sure, she could have been sent back to Minnesota any number of times, for everything from campaign finance violations to anti-Semitic remarks to allegedly leaking information to foreign leaders.
She always believed she could flout convention, and she was right — until the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security caught up with her.
Even then, she still thinks she can get away with this, both with Democrats and the authorities. It’s been two weeks since the raid, and her response is partying with Hasan Piker and out-Pikering him.
And if this is the most offensive thing she’s done this week, it’s only because the week starts on Sunday. On Friday, she posted this:
Less scrolling, more strolling. Enjoying our beautiful Minnesota lakes. 🥰 https://t.co/3YHFGx00Uq

Lyrical translation of the background music: “If I confront you in the afternoon, by evening, I will teach you a lesson and keep you awake throughout the night / Yes, you will suffer and cry in seething / You will scream like a demon,” the song says.
“Let me show you who I am. No enemy dares to threaten me,” it continues. “Let the enemies die of seething. We are the ones who rule this land.”
At this rate of bad-viral content, the Democrats might want her locked up more than the Republicans do — at least until after Nov. 3.
