Father Pens Emotional Tribute to His Two Toddlers After Mother Charged with Their Murder

Share

Steven Ford is a loving father of twin toddlers. When their lives ended far too early, his heart was broken beyond repair.

While Ford’s wife was charged with the murder of her toddler twins, this didn’t stop him from remembering the two little angels after they were gone, according to the Scottish Daily Record.

Ford created an emotional tribute to Chloe and Jake, sharing it on social media just days after their bodies were found.

In his post, he wrote, “Daddy’s twins xxx my beautiful babies. I love you.”

The post included a picture of little Jake kissing his sister Chloe on the forehead — a moment that will steal your heart.

Ford continued to show his love for his little ones by taking to Twitter with another photo that showed him cuddled up close to his daughter Chloe.

That photo was captioned, “Snuggling with my fave girl #daughter #myworld #twins.”

The love this father had for these little ones is undeniable, and his emotional tribute shows that they will never be forgotten.

Ford’s wife Samantha, 37, was arrested after she crashed her Ford Galaxy into a truck and taken to the hospital for a suspected broken nose. She appeared in a Canterbury Magistrates’ Court Friday after the twins’ bodies were found.

Samantha was charged with two counts of murder, Kent police said in a statement. She cried during the court hearing.

“At around 3.35 a.m. on Thursday December 27 2018 officers attended a property in Castle Drive, Margate, due to concerns for the welfare of the occupants,” officials said.

“The South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended and two young children were taken to hospital, where they were later confirmed deceased.

“Samantha Ford, aged 37 and of Castle Drive, Margate, was arrested and on December 28, following authorisation from the Crown Prosecution Service, was charged with two counts of murder.”

James Emptage, Samantha’s brother, told The Sun, “It’s a terrible tragedy.”

Pamela Emptage, the twin’s great-grandmother told the Daily Record the incident was “absolutely tragic.”

“She’s my granddaughter, Samantha,” she said. “They were lovely.”

“I mean they were not even two-years-old yet. It’s absolutely tragic,” she added.

According to a neighbor, Samantha had moved to the property on Castle Drive about a month ago. It is unknown if the couple had split up at the time.

A forensic team searched the quarter-million-dollar semi-detached home, reportedly putting two pillows in evidence bags before removing them from the home.

“It’s such a shocking incident,” the neighbor said. “There’s a lot of young children and families round here so it really resonates for them. And it’s a horrible time of year for it to happen.”

This tragic incident is heart-wrenching, but we know that Ford’s love will keep these little toddlers’ memory alive forever.
