Retraction: Dwayne Johnson Says He Never Made Widely Reported Comments About Free Speech

Share

Editor’s note: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson said in an Instagram post Friday that a report on his comments about free speech was “100% false.”

“The interview never happened,” Johnson said. “Never said those words. … If I ever had an issue with someone, a group, community or a generation — I’d seek them out, create dialogue and do my best to understand them. Criticizing ain’t my style. I don’t cast stones and we all get to be who we are.”
