Yikes! Ruth Bader Ginsburg Fan Offers Creepiest Idea Ever for How To Keep RGB on the Bench
I can honestly say that I have never been involved with, or known anyone belonging to, a cult.
That being said, I imagine that being a far leftist can’t possibly be all that different from being a cult member.
Both are oblivious to the real world. Both are so fervently attached to their warped beliefs that no amount of logic or reason can dissuade them. And both harbor creepily fanatical devotions to certain figureheads.
For many on the left, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is that figurehead.
To say that Ginsburg has a cult-like following would be an understatement.
How else could you possibly explain this creepy idea of how to keep her on the bench?
If it were possible, would you subtract one day off your life and add it to Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s life for one extra day of good health? If just 10,000 people did this, it would add 27 productive years to her life. pic.twitter.com/RurqFmWZGp

One of Ginsburg’s fans posited on Twitter the idea of supporters giving up their own health to extend Ginsburg’s lifespan.
The tweeter was Roger Simon, a retired columnist for Politico. In his farewell column, in January 2017, he made it clear that he’s one of those Washington journalists who detests President Donald Trump as much as Ginsburg herself.
Even for the liberal media, though, this was something else. As John Nolte wrote at Breitbart:
“Here he is, willing to trade away precious days of his own life, and asking others if they would give up irreplaceable time that normal people would use to spend with family and loved ones, to save, uh — not a child with cancer who will never get the opportunity to start living, but an 85-year-old woman who has lived a full and rich life.
“Everything with these freaks is politics, everything… Simon doesn’t care about Ginsburg the woman, the person, the mother and grandmother. He only cares about keeping her left-wing influence on the court, especially with the prospect of the Bad Orange Man replacing her.”
To be fair, the vast majority of responses wanted nothing to do with the idea. (A couple even suggested donating a day of their lives to children with terminal illness, which is the kind of thing that gives you hope for humanity.)
Still, this sounds sounds exactly like something a cult leader would suggest to his followers.
Ginsburg obviously has no actual role in this macabre idea from a random Twitter user, but that still goes to show you how unhinged the left has become in the wake of her failing health.
To be clear, much like President Donald Trump, I’m wishing a perfectly clean bill of health for Ginsburg.
Wishing Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg a full and speedy recovery!

I’m not so low as to wish harm on Ginsburg, but that doesn’t mean her insane followers should be exempt from criticism.
The great irony in all of this deifying of Ginsburg from liberals is that the real reason they’re worried about her is because of the prospect of Trump nominating another conservative judge to the Supreme Court.
Guess what? If Trump gets that chance, Ginsburg and her cultish followers should be the ones to shoulder some of that blame.
Five years ago, Ginsburg turned 80 years old. That’s a perfectly fine time for most normal Americans to retire and ride off into the sunset to enjoy the rest of their lives. Not Ginsburg. She stuck around, and I’m positive her fan following had something to do with it.
But the thing is, had Ginsburg retired then, former President Barack Obama could’ve appointed a liberal judge to replace her.
Instead, Ginsburg clung on and now Trump would be the one to appoint her replacement.
That is some delicious irony.
