James Woods Lambastes Ocasio-Cortez, Uses Her Own Words as a Warning for Future Generations
Those of us who are politically engaged get it.
We get that socialism doesn’t work, that it has never worked in the history of time and that the present socialist push in America is doomed to failure.
But nevertheless, it’s still stunning when we watch the current crop of socialist candidates continue to blindly push their ideas for a utopian socialist society.
And it’s stunning that so many people buy into it.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is an anomaly. I’ve always looked at politicians who push socialist agendas as dishonest, corrupt and power-hungry. However, Ocasio-Cortez appears to sincerely believe in her socialist principles — no matter how inarticulate she is in corroborating details that she claims supports her ideals.
James Woods has taken to Twitter again to show us in this one very short, very simple re-tweet, just how ridiculous the entire candidacy of Ocasio-Cortez is, as well as her dedication to socialism.
This should be in a time capsule for future generations to study. https://t.co/k8w3T0dbJq

This one short tweet containing a very short video says so much about the current sign of the times.
This clip is a 1:10 slice of a countdown to socialism interview of Ocasio-Cortez and the first question she answers is how to pay for Medicare for all. Her response is so vapid and empty of substance is should be embarrassing for her, but she doesn’t seem to be embarrassed.
She responds: “People often say: ‘how are you gonna pay for it?’ and I find the question so puzzling because how do you pay for something that’s more affordable? How do you pay for cheaper rent? You just pay for it.”
“It’s not that we’re saying that this whole system is free. It is free of cost at the point of service,” she continues.
Did you get that? It’s mind boggling that voters could be sending her to Congress. Just mind boggling.
And she thinks tuition-free public universities for all are as easy to fund as K-12 public education.
“So we already pay for tuition free K through 12 and in the same way that we made a decision as a country to say we need to educate people to a 12th grade level our economy has evolved and that means we need to make the decision to educate people to a trade school or a collegiate level,” said Ocasio-Cortez.
And she absolutely believes we can afford to just tack on post secondary education for everyone, again without explanation of how to actually make that work.
It scares me to wonder what the rest of the video, not shown in this tweet, contains.
It’s worth it to add some of the comments posted, as Woods’ followers get it too.
I can’t wait for college professors to find out they’re getting paid the same amount as K-12 teachers so everyone can have free college or trade schools 🤣

It’s magical thinking. She wants it, therefore it is possible. It’s the same magical thinking my five year old has when faced with the idea that unicorns are not real. #LiberalLogic

Well as long as she has a solid plan like that what could go wrong?

Woods’ comment on the original re-tweet suggests we should consider the implications of ideologies, like those of Ocasio-Cortez, for future generations’ sake.
Perhaps most of all, his message conveys that we should never again forsake the education of our coming generations. After all, we really don’t want them to become empty suit versions of Ocasio-Cortez in the future.
