Woman's Note to 'MAGA' Hat Man on Plane Shows Media's Terror Tactics Destroying Innocent People

Share

Since before he was even elected to office, the liberal media — in coordination with their Democratic Party allies — have worked overtime to dehumanize and demonize President Donald Trump and his legion of supporters, smearing them baselessly with all of the worst sorts of “-isms” and “-ists” one could be smeared with.

One of the more laughably ironic smears against Trump is that he is anti-Semitic, a ludicrous narrative — considering he is arguably the most pro-Israel president in modern U.S. history — that re-emerged following the horrific slaughter of 11 Jews at a synagogue in Pittsburgh.

A big part of the Trump demonization effort by the media over the past three years has been an increased focus on the trademark red “Make America Great Again” hat worn by many Trump supporters, which the left has seemingly transformed into some sort of evil talisman that symbolizes all of the worst smears against Trump and those who support him.

The inordinate focus and demonization of a simple red hat have unfortunately succeeded in creating something of a monster on the left, as Trump supporters have been increasingly targeted for harassment and even violence simply because they are wearing the hat that has become so hated among the left.

Case in point is the letter shown in the following tweet:

The handwritten letter on spiral notebook paper was purported to have been penned by a young woman on a plane in Los Angeles, and was addressed to the “Dear Sir in the pretty red hat.”

She noted that she was just a few seats behind the “MAGA” hat-wearing man, was the descendant of Jews who survived the Holocaust and was in LA to be with her family following the atrocious anti-Semitic attack in Pittsburgh.

Do you think the left has gone too far with the demonization of Trump's red "MAGA" hats?

The young woman wrote: “Our president blamed Saturday’s killing spree on the synagogue. He said if they had an armed guard it would have been fine. Do you have an armed guard when you pray? God should be safe to convene with, right?

“A lot of people were upset, angry and scared on the plane when they saw your hat. For you, I want to assume it’s about politics, economics and the support of a charismatic man. I wonder if you mean to scare black people, Jews and immigrants?

“To us your hat sanctions our death, our murder, our evisceration. Because your hat supports a man who does little to help us and so much to fuel hatred, violence and cruelty.

“I love you. I hope your good America doesn’t include flushing me and my people out.”

Where to even start with this letter.

First, check out this article from the American Thinker describing Trump’s forceful and unmistakable condemnation of the anti-Semitic attack and anti-Semitism in general, detailing how anti-Semitism actually has a comfortable home in the Democratic Party and pointing out all of the things Trump has done to earn the label “best president ever for American Jews.”

Second, it should be pointed out that Trump didn’t blame the synagogue for the killing spree; he merely suggested that things might have turned out differently if there had been an armed guard, a remark that came in response to a question about gun control. There are plenty of churches, mosques and synagogues that routinely employ armed guards — or have congregants that carry concealed — to protect against mass shooters, so the young woman’s complaint in that regard is relatively pointless.

As for her complaints about the man’s hat, could she be any more condescending and sanctimonious in her assumptions of what she hopes are the reasons for his wearing the hat while simultaneously smearing him as a supporter of “hatred, violence and cruelty?”

Sorry, lady, but a red hat is just a red hat. It is not a pointed white KKK hood or a Nazi swastika, nor is it symbolic or sanctioning of “our death, our murder, our evisceration.” It’s just a “MAGA” hat. Trust us, the hat won’t hurt you, nor will the innocent passenger on an airplane wearing it.

The unadulterated fear and hatred evident in this ridiculous letter is proof that the letter-writer has fully succumbed to the indoctrination of the liberal media against Trump and his supporters, so much so that she has allowed herself to become petrified and terrorized by the mere sight of a red hat.

This absurdity needs to stop, now, and that starts with the media dialing back their pure hatred for Trump and his supporters before it drives others — who may feel compelled to do more than write sanctimonious letters — to lash out at the next “MAGA” hat they see.
