Watch: Tucker Dissects What Media Is Really Doing with Immigration Outcry
It’s no secret that the establishment media is doing everything in their power to continue to peddle the narrative that innocent immigrant children are being separated from their parents regardless of the fact that their parents have broken the law by trying to cross the border illegally.
Tucker Carlson pulled apart the insanity on his Fox News show Thursday night, and pointed out the aspects of this “moral panic.”
“So the people in charge are misrepresenting the facts. They were lying to you — no surprise there,” Carlson said. “What’s different though, and it is different, is how they did at this time. There was a harshness to the moral panic that most of us hadn’t seen before.”
He continued, “The usual people yelling on TV were saying things adults didn’t used to say in public, even a few months ago. They seemed hysterical, crazed, nihilistic. Something had changed. It was creepy.”
He then showed a few clips from MSNBC, including one from Chris Hayes saying that the Trump Administration has entered into a “war of terror with the cartels of Central America.”
“What the Trump administration has entered into is a war of terror with the cartels in Central America in which they have now said we must terrorize people more than the cartels are terrorizing people in their home countries so they don’t come here,” Hayes said. “And that is a bidding war that is ghastly and a moral abomination.”
Because obviously separating children from their parents who are waiting to be prosecuted is the same thing as terrorism. I’m not saying that the separations are ok, but they are in no way on the same playing field as the acts of terror committed by the drug cartels who have beheaded more people than ISIS, according to BizPac Review.
In the next clip, Rachel Maddow becomes emotional and has to “hand this off” to someone else instead of finishing her segment.
“So according to MSNBC, Trump is literally worse than the Mexican drug cartels, the ones that behead people,” Carlson said. “Needless to say, he’s also a racist.”
Carlson next ran clips from Al Sharpton implying that President Donald Trump was a racist because he wouldn’t “implement this at the Canadian border” and Mika Brzezinski calling Trump a bigot and sexist.
“What you are watching there is propaganda,” Carlson said. “Over time it’s effective, and, of course, that’s why they do it.”
Now, by this time we have come to expect the media to exploit every crisis they can to paint the Trump Administration in a negative light, but the most disturbing footage to me was the response to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen being harassed at a restaurant where she was trying to enjoy a meal.
A group of protesters stood inside the restaurant where she was eating, loudly confronting her about the immigration policy. One of these demonstrators was a current Department of Justice employee, Allison Hrabar.
“Anyone who sees Kirstjen Nielsen at dinner, anyone who sees anyone who works at DHS & ICE at dinner, can confront them like this. That’s what we hope this will inspire people to do,” Hrabar later said.
Because apparently, as Carlson pointed out, “If we disagree with your political views, you no longer have rights, including the right to go outside or even to restaurants.”
Jessica Valenti with The Guardian tweeted “(Nielsen) should never be able to show her face in public again.” MSNBC said that Nielsen’s crime was eating Mexican food.
What has this country come to? Are we so intolerant of other people’s political views that we think they need to be harassed in public? ICE agents are just doing their jobs, and so is Nielsen. Too many people have bought into the misleading information being spoonfed to them by the establishment media. And so, a moral panic has ensued.
