Watch 'Repentant' ISIS Bride's Body Language When She's Asked About Murderous, Anti-American Tweets

Share

The establishment media has been sympathetic toward Hoda Muthana, a former Islamic State group bride who wants to return to the United States.

But she doesn’t seem sorry for her tweets about slaughtering Americans.

The controversy surrounding Muthana began last month after the media criticized President Donald Trump for keeping the former Islamic State group sympathizer out of the country.

But there are several good reasons to be wary about her return to the United States. She is the daughter of a former Yemen diplomat who supported radical Islam and she even ran away to Syria in 2014 to fight alongside the Islamic State group.

Additionally, there are disputes about her citizenship status, which has resulted in a lawsuit against the Trump administration.

President Donald Trump and the State Department maintain Muthana is not a citizen, but Muthana, with the help of the left-wing media, is disputing that claim.

In a sympathetic segment in defense of Muthana last month, CBS reported  there is proof she is a U.S. citizen.

Do you think she looks remorseful?

“But Muthana’s family say she is an American citizen. They’ve given us a copy of what they claim is her birth certificate, showing she was born in Hackensack, New Jersey, in 1994, and they say she held a U.S. passport,” CBS foreign correspondent Holly Williams said.

Muthana also got support from ABC News, which zealously reported her claims that she’s a U.S. citizen.

But while Muthana has gotten sympathy from the media, an interview from two weeks ago is getting new attention because it appears to show Muthana didn’t have a shred of sympathy for the victims of the terror group she supported with her pro-Islamic State group Twitter posts.

In the video, Muthana is pressed by NBC’s Richard Engel about her violent, anti-American tweets.

In response, Muthana laughed, holding back a smile, and said, “I know that, but it was an ideology that really was just a phase.”

“There’s one tweet in particular where you talk about calling on Americans to do drive-by shootings, to rent a truck to drive over people, spilling their blood — and you say Memorial Day, Veterans Day, go out and do it,” Engel pressed further.

Instead of apologizing, expressing regret or showing a shred of remorse when confronted with her tweets, Muthana cowered behind her lawyer.

“Again, my lawyer told me not to speak about these things,” she responded, appearing to be holding back a smile.

The left desperately wants to bring in people like Muthana — the kind of people who claim it’s “just a phase” to wish death upon Americans.

It’s great that Trump is doing everything he can to keep this monster out of the United States.
