Watch: Pro-Choice Punk Caught on Camera Round House Kicking Pro-Life Woman

Share

The ideological left has become more and more emboldened — some would say desperate, given the success of Donald Trump’s presidency — and increasingly has been resorting to violence to go along with its message.

That trend hasn’t been confined solely to the United States, either, as an incident Sunday in Toronto has made abundantly clear.

An abortion supporter who was harassing pro-life demonstrators was caught on camera as he delivered a roundhouse-style kick to a woman with whom he disagreed.

The Daily Hive in Toronto reported that the incident occurred as the pro-life group was engaged in a peaceful and respectful protest against abortion that caught the attention of abortion supporters, including the man seen in the video.

Marie-Claire Bissonnette, writing for LifeSite News, explained what happened at the protest that led up to her being viciously kicked by the disagreeable leftist.

The man had approached the peaceful protesters and began to deface their signs and clothing with markers, which prompted Bissonnette to begin filming him with her cellphone while she warned him that he was vandalizing private property.

He then snarkily asked Bissonnette a question about whether babies conceived by rape should be kept or aborted, but while she was answering he viciously swung a roundhouse kick at her, striking her shoulder and knocking the phone to the ground. As the woman and others shouted for the police, the assailant said he intended to kick her phone, and then ran away.

Bissonnette said Toronto police officers arrived five to 10 minutes later, but they never exited their patrol car and were decidedly less than helpful in addressing what they deemed as not a “serious case of assault.” Instead, she said, they informed her that she could file a complaint and pursue the matter in court if the assailant was ever identified and caught, which they appeared to have little intention of attempting to do.

Do you think this man should face criminal charges for kicking the pro-life woman?

But the man has since then been identified, according to Devin Sena of the pro-life Human Defense Initiative. He is Jordan Hunt, a Toronto-based hairdresser, and things are not going well for him since his identity has been revealed.

Hunt worked at the Noble Studio 101 in Toronto — that is, until the salon was contacted about him and he was subsequently fired.

In response to a question about whether the salon was aware that an “employee” had assaulted a woman, a representative of Noble Studio 101 replied, according to Sena: “Was a sub contracter. Until today when I found out what happened today!!!! Not cool. He will never step foot in my studio again.”

Further, the salon posted a statement on Instagram that read, “We don’t condone his actions and he has been let go. We believe everyone has a right to an opinion and the right to voice their opinion without fear of physical violence.”

For her part, Bissonnette expressed gratitude for the support she has received, and said in an interview with Human Defense Initiative, “I hope this unfortunate experience can remind the public of the violent deaths pre-born babies experience from abortion. What this man did was an act of assault and I intend on pressing charges. But he’s also loved by the Father, so please pray for him.”

It remains to be seen if the Toronto police will take action now that the assailant has been identified.

Regardless, this is just the latest example of angry leftists resorting to violent behavior to express their ideological and political disagreements, which is patently unacceptable in a civilized society.
